Inserts and Partitions

Partitions are used to separate objects in a container. Typically each cell or compartment contains an individual but identical item, but they can also contain different items in a kit or set being packaged together for delivery and use.

Traditional partitions are specified to fit a rectangular box, and are made up of strips with slots cut into them. The placement and number of these slots defines the size and number of cells they assemble to form.

Air-cells can be designed into a partition to create empty space at the perimeter in order to protect the outer-most rows of packaging or in order to use an existing box that would not otherwise fit with the partition as designed.

Partitions can be made from almost any material including fiberboard, corrugated fiberboard, plastic, wood, and metal.

Other partitions are specialty die-cut assemblies which set-up or fold to create custom cavities for your product!
